A.L.R.S. operating principle:
Systems will respond in a catamaran, ship or boat to :
- excessive tilt to one side (loss of safe stability)
- excessive tilt to the bow or stern (loss of safe stability)
- too low a draft (sinking)
- sudden high temperature spike (fire)
- Manual triggering integrated with the I.S.M.A. system.
The system will trigger several elements of rescue
and emergency information at the time of response:
- from the sides of the catamaran, ship and boat will be “thrown”
a short distance from the vessel rescue pontoons or rafts, depending on
the requirements of the shipping area - from the sides of the catamaran, ship and boat will be “thrown”
lifebuoys will be “thrown” - from the sides of the catamaran, ship and boat
a short distance from the vessel - the system will activate the light and sound siren
- the system will notify the emergency number with a phone call giving
the name of the ship, its GPS location and the type of emergency being alerted - The system will fire emergency light flares into the air
