The right propulsion system is actually one of the main components that go into any catamaran. With a good supercharger, you can extend the voyage itself and even provide energy autonomy on the water. An electrically powered engine with an additional charge not only provides movement to the vessel, but also supplies electricity to all the major equipment on board.
Each solution has many benefits and brings with it efficient engine operation.
Hydrogen, electric or hybrid propulsion can also be enriched with optional supercharging in the form of, for example, solar panels.
The choice of a specific solution depends on the size of the catamaran and the customer’s expectations. Nowadays, a lot of attention is paid to the type of engine – an improperly selected one can not only impair the functionality of the vessel, but also make it unable to traverse a given body of water at all. Old-generation, internal combustion-powered engines generate excessive noise that disrupts natural life processes in the water and emit excess harmful compounds into the atmosphere.
Therefore, we offer our customers the latest technological solution – Quatro Energy powered engine. This is four independent energy sources, great efficiency, excellent power and low operating costs.
We are one of the few companies that also sell and install engines for catamarans and boats that are not vessels built in our shipyard. Besides, we can replace and improve the engine in any model of our catamaran (passenger, house on the water, etc.).
We also offer our customers a comprehensive inspection and, if necessary, we will also undertake the rebuilding of any catamaran, which will improve aerodynamics, increase safety and comfort of sailing. All internal combustion engines installed in our shipyard are Stage V compliant.
